In the past, I’ve always had a good amount of plant life scattered throughout my home. The pop of green is always welcome, especially in an apartment, like mine, which is primarily dominated by neutrals. However, I’m not sure what’s been happening lately, because in the past two months four of my plants have died! It’s the strangest thing. I generally have a pretty green thumb, but apparently no more. Well, I’ve moved through the five stages of plant-death grief and am now officially ready to try again. First and foremost, I am going to get hardy, green plants that can withstand the occasional forgetting-to-water moment and are content in an apartment that only receives direct sunlight for about 2 hours a day. I love cacti, and I seem to be able to keep them alive, so I’ve been thinking about an assortment of small cacti and maybe one large one too. I’m also in the market for a fiddle leaf fig, which has long been renowned as the best apartment plant EVER. Long story short, I thought that this would be a great opportunity to update my planters. I like what I have for their neutrality and clean lines (there’s a lot of white IKEA up in here), but I really want some playful pieces that could inject some color into my space in small, concentrated doses.
I’ve scoured the internet and come up with my favorite planter options. Each option has something unique and inspiring about it, be it color, texture or shape, and I want them all! And I couldn’t help but add in a few of my favorite indoor gardening tools for good measure too.

Personally, I get all the warm and fuzzies from the banana bikini planter and the colored concrete planter. And there are no words for those gloves! Which are your favorite? Am I missing some really great options? Comment and give me your suggestions!
