So… I am currently undertaking a makeover of my sad little pantry (before and after photos to come very soon!). The pantry sits at the end of a galley kitchen and is pretty modest in size. Hopefully I will be replacing the small metal rack I have with floor to ceiling wood shelves and adding some wall storage for some cleaning and organizing supplies. This project has been on the to-do list for over a year and, I have to admit, I’m more excited about it than any project yet. I love organizing and I have a very strong penchant for beautiful cleaning products. There’s just something about those colorful, plastic, box store cleaning products that just doesn’t sit with me. On the other hand, wood, metal, neutral tones and natural materials fill my little heart with joy 🙂 So, in thinking about this upcoming project, I compiled some of my favorite cleaning and organizing/laundry room/pantry essentials. Not only are these products beautiful, but in my opinion, the materials (although definitely a touch more expensive) actually make them better, more durable, and more reliable.
Clockwise from top left: Lostine Broom Holder and Barn Broom, Lostine “Occordian” Coat Rack, Iris Hantverk Black Handled Dustpan Brush, The Line Filt Large Net Bag, Mur Lifestyle Wire Market Basket, Mur Lifestyle Wash Bucket-Set of 2, Leather Fly Swatter, Wood Ironing Board, Hay Clip Clip Spoon, Hay Elastic Ball-Black & White, The Hook Lady Brass School Hooks, Iris Hantverk Black Metal Dustpan, Redeemer White Ostrich Feather Duster
Honeslty, I could go on and on about cleaning and organizations products, but these are a few I hope to be incorporating into my new and improved pantry area. Bonus, most of the items here are pretty inexpensive! On a side note, I am not immune to the lure of the Swiffer, so I guess I can’t avoid at least one pop of lime green 😉
What are some of your favorite cleaning products? If you have any suggestions, please comment and let me know!
Lots of love-Cassie
